Resting Isn't Falling Behind

After a hard week, Sunday rest can come with a guilty voice: "Everyone else is getting things done. I'm wasting the day."
Here's the realer version. A week of bracing, alarms, and pushing through costs your body something. Rest is when your nervous system gets to come down from high alert and recover. It isn't laziness, and it isn't losing ground. It's part of how you keep going.
Today, try one small thing: pick one stretch of the day, even 20 minutes, and call it rest on purpose. No catching up, no earning it first.
